A remarkable figure on the Czech musical and theatrical scene. Singer, violinist, violist, quinton player, composer and actress, active in the fields of Classical music, musicals, jazz and alternative rock. A member of the Talich Chamber Orchestra and first violinist in the Gadrew Way Quartet. Plays, sings and creates material for the Maraca and Zimbova bands and appears with the Epoque Quartet.
An educator teaching kids since 1990. She initiated Polish Academy of Kids (PAK), which is the first International University run by kids (akademiadzieci.edu.pl). PAK is run by a non-profit organization and it is currently for over 6000 children in Poland and the Netherlands. Her work is focused on building new models of education introducing e.g. educational astronomy, microbiology and multilingual education into teaching very young learners (age 2).
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxBrno, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxBrno event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
